Supply Chain Planning Lead

Supply Chain Banksmeadow Full-time Australia

Job Description

About the Role

This is a key role in our Australian team where you’ll sit right in the middle of the action - connecting what the business plans to sell with what we actually deliver.

As our Supply Chain Planning Lead, you’ll own the S&OP process, keep a close eye on forecasts, stock, and performance, and work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Ops and Finance to make sure we stay on track.

If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and getting stuck into cross-functional work, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead our monthly S&OP cycle (demand, supply, and inventory planning)
  • Build and manage forecasts across all product categories
  • Keep track of forecast accuracy and bias, and continuously improve it
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing on promotions and new product launches
  • Use data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities

Supply & Inventory

  • Keep stock levels in check—avoiding both shortages and excess
  • Manage purchase orders for products and services
  • Help improve systems and processes to make planning more efficient
  • Work with internal teams to manage stock issues when they come up

Working Across the Business

  • Act as the go-to link between commercial teams and operations
  • Support delivery of inventory, service levels, and working capital targets
  • Partner with Warehouse, Production and Finance to understand and fix gaps
  • Contribute to a safe and compliant workplace (aligned to WHS standards)

What Success Looks Like

  • A smooth, well-run S&OP process
  • Better forecast accuracy and fewer surprises
  • Healthy inventory levels
  • Strong service performance with minimal write-offs

Qualifications

About You

  • You’ve got solid experience (5+ years) in supply or demand planning
  • You know your way around S&OP and forecasting
  • You’re data-savvy, with strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills
  • You’re great with people and can work across different teams easily
  • You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and not afraid to challenge thinking
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG (coffee or food/bev a bonus)
